Brown + Wallace Building Surveying undertook full Contract Administration & Cost Management services for the planned external refurbishment and internal alteration works of an industrial distribution facility in Newbridge.
The works comprised the external over-clad of the asbestos cement roof and existing elevations, demolition of internal office accommodation, installation of separate services to each unit and removal of asbestos containing material (ACM’s).
Brown + Wallace initially prepared a feasibility based on the client’s requirements before being appointed to obtain statutory consent and provide full Contract Documents. Brown + Wallace also managed the appointed Services Engineers and Structural Engineers.
Contract documents and drawings were prepared and issued to the tendering Contractors which were then formally reviewed and analysed prior to making recommendations to the Client.
Thereafter Brown + Wallace managed the works to a successful completion including the staged handover of part of the roof to allow the Client to install a new Photovoltaic panel system.
The project was delivered on time and on budget.
